AM I WRONG?

AM I WRONG?

I suggest getting a job that helps keep the people stupid! You will definately move up the food chain that way and be a useless eater with a "purpose" to the elite - .

Barack Hussein Obama is NOT another John F. Kennedy. Do we not care that Obama is CFR - Council on Foreign Relations? We are seeing a power grab between money and power in Washington. Elite pinning elites against eachother. This is not about America and her future - this is not about Americans and their future - it's about - CONTROL. One day we will end up with so much data survellience that you will have to swipe a card for toilet paper before you enter the stall (in your own home). You think it's funny that i'm watching the slow demise of my country? It's not in the slightest - I have 5 children that must grow up in this "controlled" environment of power elites. Your liberties are more important than a "certain" class of people. You are an individual - when did people stop believing that? I am just so frustrated and astonished at the lack of priorities of the American public. It's about people thinking on their own. I feel like giving up -

If you are so naive to believe that Democrats have no asperations in the stock market, do not like making money, and have your best interests at heart and would not step on you in the process...then yes - go back to sleep...I believe Americans must be the most selfish people on the planet! You think you must have special privileges? Why - are you that special above anyone else? You are just as greedy and self fullfilling as the elites and only further their agenda....look around you and open your mind.

American Sovereignty - what the news won't tell you.

European multi-millionaire Sir James Goldsmith testified before the Senate Commerce Committee in 1994 on G.A.T.T. (General Agreements on Tariffs & Trade), which codifies trade agreements between countries under the auspices of the WTO or the UN. He described in detail how free trade agreements and globalization policies are simply a means to transfer wealth from America and industrialized countries to under developed third world nations. A redistribution of wealth on a global scale. A serious mistake. It becomes clear why they are pushing so hard for immigration reform. It is part of the plan to transfer our wealth to Mexico and South America.

"With the GATT, America will go from a trot — under the NAFTA — to a headlong gallop into total economic and social destruction."

"It must surely be a mistake to adopt an economic policy which makes you rich if you eliminate your national workforce and transfer production abroad, and which bankrupts you if you continue to employ your own people."

"Think again… one thing I pray you do. This is the single most important economic act the Western world has ever taken… it will change the life of every American."
-Sir James Goldsmith

"For the first time, "North America" is more than just a geographical expression. NAFTA was merely the first draft of an economic constitution for North America...

The U.S. Congress should also merge the U.S.-Mexican and U.S.-Canadian interparliamentary groups into a single "North American Parliamentary Group." This might encourage legislators to stop tossing invective across their borders and instead start bargaining to solve shared problems.

-Robert Pastor, North America's Second Decade from Foreign Affairs (January/February 2004)

"The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values."

-Zbigniew Brzeninski, National Security Adviser to Jimmy Carter and President Bush as co-chairman of the Bush National Security Advisory Task Force; executive director of the Trilateral Commission

"A global economy requires a global currency."

- Paul Volcker, Former Chairman, Federal Reserve, Single Global Currency

"He maintains that immigration reform, "by opening up the United States to the world's very large and growing pool of skilled workers," will help reduce the inequality of incomes.

-Alan Greenspan, former chairman of the Federal Reserve (September, 2007)

The Council on Foreign Relations is the American Branch of a society which originated in England... (and) ...believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established."

-Carroll Quigley, member of Council on Foreign Relations, mentor to Bill Clinton

Now lets shift our focus for a moment - - -

Significant milestones in the history of the OAS since the signing of the Charter have included the following:

1959: Inter-American Commission on Human Rights created.
1961: Charter of Punta del Este signed, launching the Alliance for Progress.
1969: American Convention on Human Rights signed (in force since 1978).
1970: OAS General Assembly established as the Organization's supreme decision-making body.
1979: Inter-American Court of Human Rights created.
1991: Adoption of Resolution 1080, which requires the Secretary General to convene the Permanent Council within ten days of a coup d'état in any member country.
1994: First Summit of the Americas (Miami), which resolved to establish a Free Trade Area of the Americas by 2005.
2001: Inter-American Democratic Charter adopted.

The Inter-American Democratic Charter was adopted on 11 September 2001 by a special session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States, held in Lima, Peru. It is an inter-American instrument with the central aim of strengthening and upholding democratic institutions in the nations of the Americas. The Charter, which is binding on all 34 of the currently active OAS member states, spells out what democracy entails and specifies how it should be defended when it is under threat.

Just to clear up any misconceptions there may have been based on some earlier news reports, there was no car bomb or other bomb or attack at the State Department.

The Organization of American States (OAS) is the oldest regional organization in the world. The OAS evolved from a series of Inter-American conferences that began in the 1820s and led to the creation of its predecessor, the Pan American Union, in 1910. In 1948, following hemispheric cooperation during World War II, the Charter of the Organization of American States was signed in Bogota, Colombia by the United States and 20 Latin American nations. During its first decades, the OAS dealt primarily with border disputes and collective security. Since the 1960s, the OAS has evolved — through four amendments to its Charter — into a political organization of 35 Western Hemisphere states that have pledged to promote democracy, advance human rights, preserve peace and security, pursue free trade, and tackle difficult problems caused by poverty, drugs, and corruption.

The United States contributes roughly 59% of the regular fund. For FY2005, the U.S. contribution to the OAS is $55.7 million through the Commerce, Justice, State (CJS) appropriation (Title IV of P.L.108-447). Of the $55.7 million, $45.9 million is for the regular fund, and $9.8 million is to pay tax reimbursements for U.S. employees of the OAS. The FY2006 request for the OAS is for $65.9 million. The increase is to cover the cost of taxes owed for U.S. employees that are likely to retire in the coming year. Since 1997, the OAS has raised specific funds for certain projects and programs in order to supplement gaps in its regular fund. It raised more than $200 million in specific funds between 2000 and 2004. The primary beneficiaries of those funds include the Unit for the Promotion of Democracy, the Secretariat for Conferences and Meetings, CICAD, and the Unit for Sustainable Development and Environment.

Since 1990, the OAS has taken an active role in defending threats to democracy in the Western Hemisphere. In 1990, the OAS created the Unit for the Promotion of Democracy (UPD), now part of the Department for Democratic and Political Affairs, to assist its member states in strengthening democratic institutions and processes. In September 2001, the OAS swiftly condemned the terrorist attacks on the United States and invoked the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (known as the “Rio Treaty”) and pledged to cooperate in counter-terrorism efforts. The Inter-American Committee on Terrorism (CICTE), originally established in 1999, was revitalized and strengthened. CICTE has sponsored five regional meetings, and has cooperated on border security mechanisms, controls to prevent funding of terrorist organizations, law enforcement, and counterterrorism intelligence and information. In June 2002, OAS members signed a newly completed Inter-American Convention Against Terrorism, paving the way for increased regional cooperation.
