Canada and Israel Sign Declaration to Cooperate on Public Safety

WTF? What in the hell does Canada need Israel's help in the areas of crime prevention; Correctional services and prisons; illegal immigration and law enforcement?

Unless there are some in Canada that are seeking to have that country experience a 9/11 attack on Montreal or Toronto, i wouldn't be signing any agreements with Israel that includes border security.

And notice this is not a treaty per se, which my guess is would have to be ratified by the Canadian parliament, but a "Declaration of Intent."

What's next, for Canada to outsource security control of its airports to an Israeli firm?

Canada and Israel Sign Declaration to Cooperate on Public Safety

ISRAEL, March 23, 2008 – Today, the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety Canada and Avi Dicter, Minister of Public Security of the Government of the State of Israel, signed a Declaration of Intent to enhance cooperation in the area of public safety.
