With youtube banned, military lauches TroopTube

We can't have the military allowing soldiers overseas to post videos without censorship.

Why.... they might give away some national security secrets. Some sensitive truth could be exposed. Scenes that may disturb children would not be proper.

We trust our soldiers to kill but not to use a camera.

As they state on their home page, allowing "the simple joys of each day" to be posted.

How nice.

TroopTube is the new online video site designed to help military families connect and keep in touch while miles apart. The site is designed for easy use, so you can quickly upload videos and share the simple joys of each day with each other, either privately or with the whole world.
