Local church sign doesn't go far enough

Murfreesboro church sign calls Obama a nut?

Some controversy and a lot of comments and talk have been generated by the above church sign which implies that Obama is a 'nut.' It has brought up questions concerning churches and their 'tax exempt' status and whether it is off limits for them to publicly express political positions.

Personally, I think that churches have not been political enough and that they have failed in much of their mission. Specifically, they most always go along with any war that the government and media lies us into.

Where were/are these 'Christians' when it comes to the killing of innocents in foreign lands along with our own sons and daughters we call the 'hero' troops. There's been over one million who died in Iraq, an ever escalating number in Afghanistan and potentially who knows how many more in the 'neverending wars' of the American empire and I've never heard of a church sign questioning the morality or necessity of the deaths.

It's a deep failure of Christianity to not overcome the propaganda of war and to not live up to the basic tenets of the faith.

The U.S. soldiers who are dying in vain are coming from the same community that may question certain aspects of our criminal government but most always leave out the most heinous of their crimes; the lies and deceptions of war.

Rutherford Co. soldier dies in action in Afghanistan

For the second time in two weeks, a Rutherford County family, friends and a community is mourning the loss of a son killed in action in Afghanistan.

Spc. Russell S. Hercules Jr., 22, of Murfreesboro was killed in action Thursday in Afghanistan by small arms fire, according to reports.

(The Hercules couple) recently married and have a beautiful 4-month-old son. {more}

Bury your dead Christians. Talk about how they 'sacrificed' for you. Continue with your meanderings about health care, ACORN and the like but don't get into the criminality of our foreign policy. You've been brainwashed to think that murder and profiteering from wars is justified.

Take down your sign Bellwood Baptist Church and pray for guidance. These are your wars and you do nothing to stop them. You could but I'm afraid that you won't.

  1. Jude in NJ issues an injunction against forced vaccine. The judge may feel secure the WHO will overrule the decision or may feel they don't want to face a charge of crimes against humanity down the road. It is becoming obvious that more people know about this than they expected.

Mean while they are already giving this shot in schools. Shots are being administered around the world and have been for sometime which appear to be nothing short of anti fertility drugs and being given only to women. (the swine flu is now said to kill one in three pregnant women also).

" * WHO has been actively involved for more than 20 years in the development of an anti-fertility vaccine utilizing hCG tied to tetanus toxoid as a carrier -- the exact same coupling as has been found in the Mexican-Philippine-Nicaragua vaccines"

" Some of the vials were found to contain human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG), a naturally occurring hormone essential for maintaining a pregnancy."

Here is the kicker the antibodies will attack hcg in further pregnancies rendering the women incapable of carrying a pregnancy. They only gave it to women 12 to 49 in Mexico. They are working on the assumption that males to do not contract tetanus. What a sham, this is sterilization drug and these idiot countries who trust the who have moved right along with the program.

The judge in NJ made the right decision but mean while idiot Americans are apparently having their children serilized in schools right now right under their noses. This is all pretty amazing and pretty sick.

So it appears if your daughter has received a shot recently they may well have been sterilized for all practical purposes.

  2. Adding insult to injury. Those for whom we are doing the killing are the most ungrateful slime to ever crawl the planet:

And that is not even mentioning the treatment of Christians by Israelis in occupied Palestine. Right about the tenets of the faith. Rock on, Kenny!

  3. Thanks Rocker. Right or wrong, I just try to call 'em as I see 'em.

    Thanks for the update Mick.

    Are you in Ireland now?

If so maybe you could give us some insight as to why the EU vote this time has gone Yes.

Many of us were hoping the Irish would remain steadfast in rejecting this step towards a one world government.

  4. This church is racist just like the International Olympic Committee. The election of the Obamessiah is the greatest event in the history of humanity all other events are irrelevant. Let us pray now to our false prophet. Dear Messiah please grant me a government check and stop that evil whitey from keeping everyone down.

  6. Most Palestinian Christians have been chased out of by the occupation.

I'm not Christian, but I used to enjoy visiting Bethlehem during Christmas and New Years. It was a nice peaceful atmosphere, kind of like Ralph Fiennes’ description of Bruges in the movie.

Then Israel put up walls and roadblocks which made it impossible for people within these cities to move freely.

And since nearby colonies were built, the army was shelling places like Bethlehem and Hebron to maintain curfews and instill fear.

Today, the majority of Palestinian Christians have moved out to Europe and other countries. It's easier for them to do so than it is for their Muslim brethren as many Christian organizations and charities in the West have made their immigration and integration easier.
