Step right up and get your official story

The 9/11 tenth anniversary official story timeline is brought to you by the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.

An interactive timeline chronicling the September 11, 2001 attacks hour-by-hour is now online with a fast-forward button to skip any video or audio accounts too disturbing for the visitor.
Until the building opens in September 2011, anyone interested in how that historic day unfolded can find out here.
"This timeline is a real attempt to organize what was an incredibly chaotic day into a format that's accessible for people to learn from," said Joe Daniels, the president of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. {more}

The museum timeline could have used any number of videos available to illustrate the 2nd plane hit. They chose this one where the angle doesn't catch the incoming plane and only a portion of the explosion can be seen.

They did like the background dialog in this 'amateur' video. The videographer luckily turned up the mic volume at the proper time to hear some guy say he saw an American Airlines 767 hit the first tower and before the 2nd plane hits declares "That Building is Going to Collapse."

The National September 11 Memorial at the World Trade Center site will be dedicated on September 11, 2011.

"Taxi of Jedaya"

It's all explained now. The protesters in Libya are not only under the influence of Bin Laden but 'al qaeda' is handing out some sort of hallucinogenic drug called the 'taxi of jedaya.' So says Gaddafi.

The first thing we hear is him talking about drugs that have been given to protesters to cause them to turn against the regime. He says there are no protesters over 20. These "kids" have been given a specific drug called the "taxi of jedaya" that makes them feel high and they start misbehaving.

We laugh but this is no more crazy than what we hear daily from our own leaders and media.

Obama on Libya: “the suffering and bloodshed” as “outrageous,” “These actions violate international norms and every standard of common decency.”
Not much different than U.S. intervention in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq, eh Barry.

Hillary Clinton on the Iran protests: "Off the streets, the regime's leaders have targeted human rights defenders and political activists, and authorities have recently rounded up ex-government officials and their families; former members of parliament; clerics and their children; student leaders and their professors; as well as journalists and bloggers." Clinton's statement said the United States "remains deeply concerned by the persecution of Iranian citizens at the hand of their government."
No word of a Clinton apology to Ray McGovern.

U.S. official on drone attacks in Pakistan: "There hasn't been a single non-combatant casualty since last summer. And it's ridiculous to think that you can't go after lower-ranking terrorists who, among other things, are targeting American forces in Afghanistan -- not to mention our homeland."

Rahm Emaneul's election and the Hollywood connection: Little bro {Ari Emanuel} was instrumental in raising a nice portion of Rahm's reported $12 million war chest, which dwarfed the competition
One of my favorite (printable) Rahm quotations is his observation that the talk in his home when he was growing up led him to believe that the Democratic Party "was one of the 10 lost tribes of the Jewish faith."

The Sunstein/Vermeule article: The authors contend that conspiracy theorists suffer from “cognitive blunders” and “crippled epistemology”. Using psycho-philosophic parlance they are saying those failing to accept the official story of the 9/11 Commission, leading members of which admitted it was “set up to fail”, cannot think straight.

Raymond Davis saga: US warns of moving International Court: US officials have indirectly warned that their country could approach the International Court of Justice (ICJ), if the spat over their ‘consular employee’ Raymond Davis, is not resolved in accordance with the Vienna Convention. US diplomatic officials on Wednesday continued to insist that Davis was a member of the ‘technical and administrative staff’ of their mission in Pakistan and hence immune from criminal prosecution.

Alleged dolls and baby carriage terrorist arrested in Texas: A young college student from Saudi Arabia studying chemical engineering in Texas purchased explosive chemicals over the Internet as part of a plan to hide bomb materials inside dolls and baby carriages to blow up dams, nuclear plants or the Dallas home of former President George W. Bush, the Justice Department said Thursday.

You get the picture.

Now where can I hail that "taxi?" High and misbehaving ... sounds interesting.

There should be a law against all this treasonous feet washing

Gadhafi and Gaga vow to never leave but don't worry about that now, we have bigger threats to deal with.

"Wash a foot, go to jail. I have all the proof of this treason right here in these papers."

A proposed new Tennessee state law would make following the Islamic legal code known as Shariah law a felony, punishable by 15 years in jail.

State Senator Bill Ketron, R-Murfreesboro, introduced the bill, known as Senate Bill 1028, last week. A House version of the bill, House Bill 1353, was introduced by House Rep. Judd Matheny, R-Tullahoma.

The bill claims that Shariah law is a danger to homeland security.

“The threat from Shariah-based jihad and terrorism presents a real and present danger to the lawful governance of this state and to the peaceful enjoyment of citizenship by the residents of this state,” the bill reads.

The bill exempts any peaceful practice of Islam.

But it also claims that any adherence to Shariah law – which includes religious practices like feet-washing and prayers – is treasonous.

Controversy and Cognitive Infiltration

Aside from Judy Wood's theories, perhaps the most controversial ideas on the 9/11 WTC demolitions are those of nuclear explosions. Although not new, Ed Ward has been writing on this for several years, the latest to get all the attention is Dimitri Khalezov.

Khalezov was virtually unknown until about a year ago when a 26 part video of his nuclear demolition theories was posted on youtube and then very quickly taken down.  Two ideas come to mind. One is that someone didn't want these theories to be known, maybe they are too close to the truth. The other is that taking them down gave credibility to what could be a disinformation campaign. The videos are now available at youtube and Khalezov gives a number of interviews and has become a staff writer at Veterans Today where he gets an extensive audience.  Some will point their finger at VT as contributing to disinfo but that's another story for another time and each individual will have to decide that for themselves.

Others besides Khalezov also see evidence of nuclear explosives.

Via wtcdemolition (with perhaps a caveat) ...
 Dust by Jeff Prager

It is my considered opinion that all of the people that use the “thermite/thermate” theory are frauds working for the US government producing what we call a “Limited Hangout.” As such, it is their objective to conceal the thermonuclear demolition of the Twin Towers. It is their job to conceal the nuclear component at all costs. This does not mean that the “thermite/thermate” theory is in error, just that it’s being used to obfuscate the truth. This is the classic definition of a Limited Hangout. {more - pdf}

The bottom line is that with all of the competing theories on the mechanics of the 9/11 demolitions, everyone can't be right. People can be sincere in their theories and still make mistakes and be just plain wrong. People can also be part of the infiltrated 9/11 truth movement and spread disinformation to keep us all going in different directions and try to discredit everyone who gives a damn.

Cass Sunstein is probably somewhere smiling and saying "See, I told you this cognitive infiltration would work. They are fighting among themselves at every turn."  Actually some of this disinfo, as with current version of 911 Blogger, is fairly easy to see through. It's the best of the propaganda that still can get to us and that's why we have to be vigilant and willing to speak out even in the face of ridicule and the prevailing concepts.

Some of us are very interested in the hows of 9/11. It's just our nature. It's been pointed out to me that it's the whos that are most important and that bringing those responsible to justice will reveal the hows. I won't argue with that.

Speaking of controversy and cognitive infiltration and what's disinfo and what's not, the UFO/alien issue is getting a lot of mainstream media coverage so that makes it very suspect to being a psyop of concern. I would guess that Cass Sunstein learned much of what he proposes from the long term disinformation games of  the UFO 'community.'

Via Media Monarchy comes the latest from Clyde Lewis at groundzeromedia. Worth a look if you're interested in alternative viewpoints to what may or may not be happening concerning 'UFO' and 'alien' phenomena.

Uforia's Secret - The Undercover Story
Ufology has now become a complicated soap opera of tall tales in short order and short tempers for those who want serious disclosure. There are professional skeptics in bed with the government, some UFO researchers in bed with them as well. The government is also in bed with the Military industrial complex which is allegedly in bed with aliens and it is all there to obfuscate and confuse people into writing it off as some undercover tabloid ruse. {more}

Project Blue Beam and the Rise and Fall of-the-Neo Skeptic
In the original “Watchmen” comic (set in an alternate reality 1985), one of the “heroes” commits what can be considered a villainous act for the “good of all mankind.” He contrives an “alien invasion” so that the United States, the Soviet Union, and the rest of the world will join together in peace and harmony to protect themselves against the outside “alien threat.”
If the story rings familiar to some of you, it is because it is based on speeches given by Ronald Reagan in the real world, in which he said an “alien threat” would be the solution to uniting a hostile world.

Numerous “conspiracy theorists”, most notably former naval officer William Cooper, the author of the famed underground book Behold a Pale Horse, speculated that Reagan’s speech was an expositional public “debriefing” to prepare the public to accept a global government as a necessary response to an alien invasion scenario. {more}

Busting the People

You may have seen the Remote Area Medical project or something like it in a city near you. A two day free medical, vision and dental clinic set up in a  high school where folks such as this lady in the picture have been in line, camping out since 5pm yesterday to get a number for the start at 6am today.

The National Guard was used for security to keep the peace and the 1,200 slots for today were taken by 3am.

The extensive local media coverage of  "get your ticket and get in line" also serves the purpose of getting us accustomed to possible things to come, say food lines.

This is what America has become.

Trillions for bankers and the war machine but just the mention of universal health care for all brings on the cries of socialism, communism and whatever other term is in vogue for not taking care of our own.

Take a look at the Cost of War to the United States. Go the trade offs and see how your state or city could use all of the blood money being thrown around the world for the benefit of those at the top of the killing chain.

If we weren't being robbed through taxation of our labor, I'd say millions of people would be glad to give a little more to some real charity causes that might lead to permanent help for the poor instead of just a few in a two day event. If our Congress and state legislatures weren't bought by the insurance and pharmaceutical corporations, they just might come up with a health care system that didn't  bankrupt individuals and states. If our food production wasn't corporate controlled and subsidized by their legislative friends and there was a focus on healthy foods instead of big profits, we could take a burden off of health care with a less poisoned population. Lots of ifs .....

The protests in Wisconsin are encouraging.  Taking a cue from the Egyptians may seem odd but maybe the time has come for Americans to take their frustrations to the streets and capitols. These "step by step, inch by inch" moves to widen the gap between the rich and poor have to be confronted.

The right wing media shills who are whoring for the moneyed interests are blasting these protests as anti-American. They essentially are saying everyone has to pay his share as we all but a few must become poor together.

The fake 'tea party' is even having counter controlled opposition rallies against the union supporters.  Obama and some of the dems give lip service to the unions but that's just political maneuvering. It's manipulation number 1 ... divide and conquer. The ends of the two party game are the same ... debt slavery and submission of the people.

Maybe we're seeing a grassroots 'blowback' but it has to go beyond the personal pay and benefit cuts of this protest. It has to be aimed at the bankers, the shadow government, the war promoters and their media lackeys.

If we don't, well ... we all may be getting in line to get that pair of eyeglasses or a tooth fixed or that last loaf of bread. The powers that be like us to beg before we die.

But slowly we see the 'elite' worry that they are losing control. I tend to think their plans of  'busting the people' won't be successful.

Americans arguing with Americans. Just what 'they' want to keep the focus off of the deeper criminal issues.

When the outcome is in doubt, always evoke the ghost of Reagan.

Bread & Puppet Theater

I don't know anything about the Bread & Puppet Theater and I'm not going to their local presentation of the  "Decapitalization Circus"  but I did like the press release photo. The symbolism speaks for itself.

It reminded me of some other local puppet theater news.

War criminal George Bush comes to Fort Campbell to sign copies of his revisionist history memoir for soldiers and families. Puppets buying the puppet's book and getting a thank you for being a pawn. Capitalism at its peak of hypocrisy.

A local soldier with a pregnant wife is expected to be taken off life support after being shot in the neck and his spinal cord severed in Afghanistan. His child will never know his father as Bush travels freely around the country and current puppet in chief Obama continues the killing without remorse or justification. Puppets don't have a conscious, they just move to the pulling of the strings.

The ADL came to middle Tennessee yesterday to train law enforcement officers from all over the country on how to handle dangerous domestic terrorist radicals.  "There's more extremist activity today then ever before," Bill Nigut with the Anti-Defamation League said.  Methinks the ADL is the extremist group that police need to be warned against. Brainwashing sessions by the Foxman boys are a real danger to citizens as the puppet police are indoctrinated to see us as the threat and to shoot first and give us our Miranda rights later.

We all know the puppet strings need to be cut. We just can't seem to find the scissors.

Anyone want to speculate on Muse and why on the biggest night of the tightly controlled music industry they get to feature lyrics and visual symbolism that appear to be in opposition to the regularly scheduled drivel they promote? They also won 'Rock Album of the Year' for "The Resistance." Call me cynical but there may be more to it than just making money. Sing along kids.

Here's another video since the grammys must think the HD version is worth something.

A better quality one.    Also here.

The paranoia is in bloom
The P.R. transmissions will resume
They'll try to push drugs, keep us all dumbed down
And hope that we will never see the truth around
So come on

Another promise, another scene, another
Packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed with all the
Green belts wrapped around our minds and endless
Red tape to keep the truth confined, so come on

They will not force us
And they will stop degrading us
And they will not control us
We will be victorious, so come on

Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take its toll
If you could flick a switch and open your third eye
You'd see that we should never be afraid to die
So come on

Rise up and take the power back
It's time the fat cats had a heart attack
You know that their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
So come on

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious, so come on

Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious, so come on

Hey, hey, hey, hey

Broken Wings from picasso dreams

A common thread runs through our history. That of the nameless faceless slaughter of those caught up in the acts of war. Collateral damage often used to send a message that everyone is 'fair game' when all that matters is profit and power.

February 13 is an infamous anniversary that even the mainstream media reminds us of but without going into the details of the whys.

The firebombing of Dresden 66 years ago today should make us bow our heads in shame. Few will care.
According to some historians, the question of who ordered the attack and why, has never been answered. To this day, no one has shed light on these two critical questions. Some think the answers may lie in unpublished papers of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, Winston Churchill and perhaps others. History reports that the British and American attack on Dresden left more than 2-1/2 times as many civilians dead as Britain suffered in all of World War II, and that one in every 5 Germans killed in the war died in the Dresden holocaust.

Some say the motive was to deliver the final blow to the German spirit -- that the psychological impact of the utter destruction of the heart centre of German history and culture would bring Germany to its knees once and for all.

Some say it was to test new weapons of mass destruction, the phosphorous incendiary bomb technology. Undoubtedly the need for control and power was at the root. The insatiable need of the dominators to exert control and power over a captive and fearful humanity is what drives acts of mass murder like the Dresden firebombing and Hiroshima.

I think there was also an additional hidden and cynical motive which may be why full disclosure of the Dresden bombing has been suppressed. The Allies knew full well that hundreds of thousands of refugees had migrated to Dresden in the belief that this was a safe destination and the Red Cross had been assured Dresden was not a target. The end of the war was clearly in sight at that point in time and an enormous mass of displaced humanity would have to be dealt with. What to do with all these people once the war ended? What better solution than the final solution? Why not kill three birds with one stone? By incinerating the city, along with a large percentage of its residents and refugees, the effectiveness of their new firebombs was successfully demonstrated. Awe and terror was struck in the German people, thereby accelerating the end of the war. And finally, the Dresden firebombing ensured the substantial reduction of a massive sea of unwanted humanity, thereby greatly lessening the looming burden and problem of postwar resettlement and restructuring.

We may never know what was in the psyche of those in power or all the motives that unleashed such horrific destruction of civilian life - the mass murder of a defenseless humanity who constituted no military threat whatsoever and whose only crime was to try to find relief and shelter from the ravages of war. Without the existence of any military justification for such an onslaught on helpless people, the Dresden firebombing can only be viewed as a hideous crime against humanity, waiting silently and invisibly for justice, for resolution and for healing in the collective psyches of the victims and the perpetrators. {more}
Also on this day in 1991, U.S. bombs  killed 314 civilians including 130 children inside a shelter in Baghdad as 'Desert Storm' gave us a hint of things to come.

Today it's drone attacks, 'suicide' bombings and false flag attacks still taking out more civilians that only want to live their lives in peace and there's no end in sight.

Millions of people walked into their 'churches' today. Most of whom have simply forgotten, if they ever knew, what they are there for.

Celebrate and then on to the next battle

Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory, for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated.

To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.

The clever combatant imposes his will on the enemy, but does not allow the enemy's will to be imposed on him.

We cannot enter into alliances until we are acquainted with the designs of our neighbors.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt; if you know Heaven and know Earth, you may make your victory complete.

A Mubarak Moment

A 'Mubarak Moment' could become a new pop phrase for when everyone from the media to the president appear to anticipate and report something that doesn't quite end up as their talk suggested.

Today was almost one of those "Dewey Wins" days.

Maybe it's the move that those in the background actually wanted. Give some power to the CIA helpmate Omar Suleiman and hopefully buy time to get their plans straight. It gives the appearance of appeasing Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Or maybe it's an attempt to really stir up the protests? How are those in the streets and the military going to react? Peaceful, repression, chaos? Will Egyptians kill more Egyptians? Send a message not only to the other restless Middle East countries but to Americans that taking protests too far will have consequences? Mubarak hinted at it.

The idea that this is one more step to 'balkenize' the Middle East is still in play. Plans that go back decades don't go away easily but plans can go astray.

Break this cycle of control of the people and never ending war?

It will take millions of people in the street ... with resolve ... and love.

First in Egypt ... then in the rest of the world.

CPAC Civil War: Screaming "War Criminal" At Dick Cheney

Things should have been nice and chummy at CPAC an hour ago. Dick Cheney strolled on stage to cheers and the inspirational tune of Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” and got began to present the “Defender Of The Constitution” award to Donald Rumsfeld. However, as the chants of “USA! USA!” died down, a voice screaming “War criminal!” could be heard. And then, as Cheney continued to talk up his former colleague, a shouting match began between supporters of Ron Paul and the rest of the convention hall.

The Paul supporters eventually walked out in the middle of Rumsfeld’s speech as way of protest. {more}

Patriot Act Provisions Extension Fails but ...

The good news is that for the first time in years an unconstitutional police state law is 'shot down.' At least for the time being.

The bad news is that Patriot Act extension failed because of a procedural move that required a two-thirds majority that fell short with 277 voting yes and 148 voting no. Which means that the majority of Congress are still traitors who don't give a flip about our rights and who remain shills for the lies of the 'war on terror.' Some are predicting the bill will return to the House floor for a regular vote that would only require a simple majority to pass.

Obama, doing his best George W. Bush impression, wanted the extension to go through December 2013. A Republican  sponsored the extension until December 2011. Most democrats voted no, all repubs but 26 voted yes. That's a crazy mix even for the false left/right paradigm.

My own brand new congresswoman, Diane Black, voted for the illegal bill and showed her true colors. Her whole campaign was based on how she would honor the constitution and protect the rights of the little people. Liar.

No need in getting excited. Even if the Patriot Act goes by the wayside, our criminal government is going to do whatever they want and expect to get by with it. There's a $1.2 billion Utah Data Center being built that will exist for no other reason than to manage all the information unlawfully gathered on legal US citizens. 'We the people' are the real enemy in case you haven't heard and we don't seem to protest very much against those accusations.

Just in case the public starts to arouse from their sleep and get a little too uppity about those constitutional rights, there's always that false flag wild card. Once every ten years or so should do the trick.

Egyptians should embrace 9/11 truth in their anti-U.S. and Israel rallies

It's all connected.  Many in the Arab world know 9/11 was a false flag. Even some in the Egyptian military have been known to speak out. The Lavon Affair is part of their history. Had the USS Liberty been totally destroyed by Israel as planned and Egypt blamed, the U.S. would have entered the 1967 war. Egyptians know what the Mossad and the CIA are capable of. We all need each other in the pursuit of the truth and positive change.

The Criminally Infested Super Bowl

It's not good enough anymore to just have our little day of diversion, watch a game we don't care about, talk some trash and drink a beer.

Oh no, now it's the merging of political propaganda and our favorite corporate pastime. Fox News meets the spirit of Vince Lombardi in a festival for violence lovers.

War criminal and world wide wanted man George Bush brought his smirk to the Jerry Jones suite and didn't even get a shoe thrown at him. Oh yeah, I think homeland security confiscated those at the door. Condi Rice was there too. Perks for the perverted.

At least Georgie and Condi got a slight taste of what they have dished out. The half time show was torture.

If you turned on the pre-game show to get some jock talk, you got to see a tribute to the reanimated corpse of a 100 year old actor who once portrayed both a football player and a president.

Revisionist history as told by the 'winners.'

Last and maybe worst, O'Reilly  and Obama entered the 'no spin end zone' before the game to tell the fans of the orderly transition coming to Egypt.

"We're this far from scoring."

Green Bay wins!  Reagan and Lombardi celebrate somewhere in the nether world. Bush goes back into hiding in his Dallas home for the criminally insane and Obama finishes the last of the White House Yuengling Lager, smokes a cigarette and declares Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday.

Yes Darlin' Dope Can Kill You

The extended family got a little smaller today.

Timmy was 48. Nearly a lifetime of drug abuse did him in. Meth, coke and prescription pills up the nose for years on end will do that. Moderation was an unknown concept for him.

About 3 years ago in a drugged stupor he fell out of a deer stand and broke himself up pretty good. He was also busted with a bag of pharmaceuticals in his pocket that the law found as they picked him up from the ground but he received a suspended sentence for that.

Disability was next, along with a unending supply of taxpayer supplied painkillers.

Not content with swallowing them, Timmy would crush them up and snort them for that quick rush.

About three weeks ago he passed out and was taken to the hospital where the doctor said his lungs were destroyed from all the painkiller 'nose candy.' A hole was cut in his throat for a breathing tube and he was being fed through his nose. Unable to talk, he was asked a few days ago if he wanted to die and nodded affirmatively. Divorced, he leaves behind a 14 year old son and the 80 year old very nice and now very devastated mother he was living with.

This brings me to the point of this story. I've heard that one of the rages among the local teenagers is stealing parent's painkillers and other drugs and snorting them. It's a dangerous situation in more ways than one. The economy may be a factor. Kids programmed to think getting high is cool but without money for weed and alcohol will try what they can get their hands on.

RIP Timmy ... maybe, just maybe, as your story is passed around it will give a kid pause before he possibly destroys himself too. Maybe no one will ever care.

I've seen more than my share of dope causalities, both from illegal and legal drugs, from Vietnam vets to the youth to grandmothers ... it's always a waste ... and it's always a helpless feeling.

The Damned Human Race

Optimus magister bonus liber - The best teacher is a good book

The Damned Human Race

by: Mark Twain

I have been studying the traits and dispositions of the “lower animals” (so-called), and contrasting them with the traits and dispositions of man. I find the result humiliating to me. For it obliges me to renounce my allegiance to the Darwinian theory of the Ascent of Man from the Lower Animals; since it now seems plain to me that that theory ought to be vacated in favor of a new and truer one, this new and truer one to be named the Descent of Man from the Higher Animals.

In proceeding toward this unpleasant conclusion I have not guessed or speculated or conjectured, but have used what is commonly called the scientific method. That is to say, I have subjected every postulate that presented itself to the crucial test of actual experiment, and have adopted it or rejected it according to the result. Thus I verified and established each step of my course in its turn before advancing to the next. These experiments were made in the London Zoological Gardens, and covered many months of painstaking and fatiguing work. …

Some of my experiments were quite curious. In the course of my reading I had come across a case where, many years ago, some hunters on our Great Plains organized a buffalo hunt for the entertainment of an English earl — that, and to provide some fresh meat for his larder. They had charming sport. They killed seventy-two of those great animals; and ate part of one of them and left the seventy-one to rot. In order to determine the difference between an anaconda and an earl — if any — I caused seven young calves to be turned into the anaconda’s cage. The grateful reptile immediately crushed one of them and swallowed it, then lay back satisfied. It showed no further interest in the calves, and no disposition to harm them. I tried this experiment with other anacondas; always with the same result. The fact stood proven that the difference between an earl and an anaconda is that the earl is cruel and the anaconda isn’t; and that the earl wantonly destroys what he has no use for, but the anaconda doesn’t. This seemed to suggest that the anaconda was not descended from the earl. It also seemed to suggest that the earl was descended from the anaconda and had lost a good deal in the transition.

I was aware that many men who have accumulated more millions of money than they can ever use have shown a rabid hunger for more, and have not scrupled to cheat the ignorant and the helpless out of their poor servings in order to partially appease that appetite. I furnished a hundred different kinds of wild and tame animals the opportunity to accumulate vast stores of food, but none of them would do it. The squirrels and bees and certain birds made accumulations, but stopped when they had gathered a winter’s supply, and could not be persuaded to add to it either honestly or by chicane. In order to bolster up a tottering reputation the ant pretended to store up supplies, but I was not deceived. I know the ant. These experiments convinced me that there is this difference between man and the higher animals: He is avaricious and miserly; they are not.

In the course of my experiments I convinced myself that among the animals man is the only one that harbors insults and injuries, broods over them, waits till a chance offers, then takes revenge. The passion of revenge is unknown to the higher animals. …

Indecency, vulgarity, obscenity — these are strictly confined to man; he invented them. Among the higher animals there is no trace of them. They hide nothing; they are not ashamed. Man, with his soiled mind, covers himself. He will not even enter a drawing room with his breast and back naked, so alive are he and his mates to indecent suggestion. Man is “The Animal that Laughs.” But so does the monkey, as Mr. Darwin pointed out; and so does the Australian bird that is called the laughing jackass. No — Man is the Animal that Blushes. He is the only one that does it — or has occasion to. …

The higher animals engage in individual fights, but never in organized masses. Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and with calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out, as the Hessians did in our Revolution and as the boyish Prince Napoleon did in the Zulu war, and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel.

Man is the only animal that robs his helpless fellow of his country takes possession of it and drives him out of it or destroys him. Man has done this in all the ages. There is not an acre of ground on the globe that is in possession of its rightful owner, or that has not been taken away from owner after owner, cycle after cycle, by force and bloodshed.

Man is the only Slave. And he is the only animal who enslaves. He has always been a slave in one form or another, and has always held other slaves in bondage under him in one way or another. In our day he is always some man’s slave for wages, and does that man’s work; and this slave has other slaves under him for minor wages, and they do his work. The higher animals are the only ones who exclusively do their own work and provide their own living.

Man is the only Patriot. He sets himself apart in his own country, under his own flag, and sneers at the other nations, and keeps multitudinous uniformed assassins on hand at heavy expense to grab slices of other people’s countries, and keep them from grabbing slices of his. And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for “the universal brotherhood of man” — with his mouth.

Man is the Religious Animal. He is the only Religious Animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion — several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself, and cuts his throat if his theology isn’t straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother’s path to happiness and heaven. He was at it in the time of the Caesars, he was at it in Mahomet’s time, he was at it in the time of the Inquisition, he was at it in France a couple of centuries, he was at it in England in Mary’s day, he has been at it ever since he first saw the light, he is at it today in Crete — as per the telegrams quoted above — he will be at it somewhere else tomorrow. The higher animals have no religion. And we are told that they are going to be left out, in the Hereafter. I wonder why? It seems questionable taste.

Man is the Reasoning Animal. Such is the claim. I think it is open to dispute. Indeed, my experiments have proven to me that he is the Unreasoning Animal. Note his history, as sketched above. It seems plain to me that whatever he is he is not a reasoning animal. His record is the fantastic record of a maniac. I consider that the strongest count against his intelligence is the fact that with that record back of him he blandly sets himself up as the head animal of the lot: Whereas by his own standards he is the bottom one.

In truth, man is incurably foolish. Simple things which the other animals easily learn, he is incapable of learning. Among my experiments was this. In an hour I taught a cat and a dog to be friends. I put them in a cage. In another hour I taught them to be friends with a rabbit. In the course of two days I was able to add a fox, a goose, a squirrel and some doves. Finally a monkey. They lived together in peace; even affectionately.

Next, in another cage I confined an Irish Catholic from Tipperary, and as soon as he seemed tame I added a Scotch Presbyterian from Aberdeen. Next a Turk from Constantinople; a Greek Christian from Crete; an Armenian; a Methodist from the wilds of Arkansas; a Buddhist from China; a Brahman from Benares. Finally, a Salvation Army Colonel from Wapping. Then I stayed away two whole days. When I came back to note results, the cage of Higher Animals was all right, but in the other there was but a chaos of gory odds and ends of turbans and fezzes and plaids and bones and flesh — not a specimen left alive. These Reasoning Animals had disagreed on a theological detail and carried the matter to a Higher Court.

One is obliged to concede that in true loftiness of character, Man cannot claim to approach even the meanest of the Higher Animals. It is plain that he is constitutionally incapable of approaching that altitude; that he is constitutionally afflicted with a Defect which must make such approach forever impossible, for it is manifest that this defect is permanent in him, indestructible, ineradicable.

I find this Defect to be the Moral Sense. He is the only animal that has it. It is the secret of his degradation. It is the quality which enables him to do wrong. It has no other office. It is incapable of performing any other function. It could never have been intended to perform any other. Without it, man could do no wrong. He would rise at once to the level of the Higher Animals.

Since the Moral Sense has but the one office, the one capacity — to enable man to do wrong — it is plainly without value to him. It is as valueless to him as is disease. In fact, it manifestly is a disease. Rabies is bad, but it is not so bad as this disease. Rabies enables a man to do a thing which he could not do when in a healthy state: kill his neighbor with a poisonous bite. No one is the better man for having rabies. The Moral Sense enables a man to do wrong. It enables him to do wrong in a thousand ways. Rabies is an innocent disease, compared to the Moral Sense. No one, then, can be the better man for having the Moral Sense. What, now, do we find the Primal Curse to have been? Plainly what it was in the beginning: the infliction upon man of the Moral Sense; the ability to distinguish good from evil; and with it, necessarily, the ability to do evil; for there can be no evil act without the presence of consciousness of it in the doer of it.

And so I find that we have descended and degenerated, from some far ancestor — some microscopic atom wandering at its pleasure between the mighty horizons of a drop of water perchance — insect by insect, animal by animal, reptile by reptile, down the long highway of smirchless innocence, till we have reached the bottom stage of development — namable as the Human Being. Below us – nothing. …

Poor Old Anti-Israel Jimmy Carter Sued by Dual Citizens and Jewish Lawyers For His Book "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid"

Carter's status just went up several notches. The lawsuit may very well solidify him as the best U.S. president in the post Kennedy era, for what that may be worth.

The $5 million plus lawsuit can be read here. It's a class action for all who bought the book and want to join in. There is the demand for a jury trial.

Yes, 2 of the 5 named plaintiffs are admitted U.S./Israel dual citizens. They don't mind bragging about it.

I can't wait for the lawsuit against Bush and his book. It's filled with lies and a jury trial should be a slam dunk for the plaintiffs. How about suing the government for the 9/11 Commission Report? The list of lying books from politicians, think tanks shills and media personalities is so extensive that an army of lawyers could make careers over several lifetimes taking the liars and manipulators to court.

Of course this is all about silencing critics of Israel. Make everyone afraid of putting into writing any condemnation of Israel's criminal endeavors. If dual citizens, AIPAC, ADL and their bought allies can't get the laws against free speech they want passed, then sue anyone who dares to speak up into financial oblivion.

Let's say that Carter did make some honest but very minor mistakes in his book. That's human.

Israel's blatant murderous disregard for international law in Gaza and on the Mavi Marmara was no mistake. We call that inhuman.

Sending in the Goon Squads - Jams for the Revolution

As described by NBC Nightly News, paid "goon squads" create some chaos in Cairo's Tahrir Square on  February 2, 2011.

As always with the main stream media ~ Read Between the Lines

I was looking to the past for some background jams for the revolution. Jimi Hendrix seemed appropriate.
