Hello Cowgirl in the Moon Dust
NBC staffer error or inside joke? Hard to say. Maybe the website kid was recently influenced by Neil's
"Roll Another Number?" Maybe the media is laughing in our face? They like to do that.
At first I though it was another internet spoof but it still shows up in a google search even though NBC has long since fixed it.
The Apollo missions to the moon were entertainment and from 1969 to 1972 were a good diversion from the Vietnam War. Yep, we could do more than waring and killing. We could go to the moon.
Over the last 100 years we have been lied to more than we've been told the truth so it's a legitimate question to ask if we ever actually landed some men on the moon. Some folks would rather not mix up this question with others like 9/11 for fear of being looked at like crazed conspiracists and lessening the importance of that subject but some of us live by the motto "Question Everything."
For purely entertainment purposes I would suggest looking at Dave McGowan's "Wagging the Moondoggie." At least it's more fun than watching a Neil Armstrong tribute on TV.
