It's enough to make the babies cry

What are the odds that of the 5 types of meningitis there would be outbreaks of 3 of them in one fairly small area within the same general time frame?

13 cases with 2 deaths from rare fungal meningitis have been reported in Nashville in patients getting  lumbar epidural steroid injections at the Saint Thomas Outpatient Neurosurgery Center to relieve pain. The center has been shut down and 3 lots of the injections have been recalled by the manufacturer. Reports are coming in that there could be hundreds more in danger as these injections and maybe the same lots have been used in other locations. Can we say contamination? Yes we can. The CDC is on the scene which means they will get to bottom of this or protect the drug manufacturers. It's hard to say which. Lawyers must be lining up...smelling blood in the water.    Update 10-3-12.....Update 10-4-12

In Franklin, Tennessee four families of students who attend Oak View Elementary School reported to the Williamson County school system that their children contracted viral meningitis last month. School leaders said since doctors are not required to report viral meningitis to the health department, the school system does not have a confirmed number of cases. Extra cleaning crews were brought to the school over the weekend to help prevent it from spreading.   Buses that service the school have also been cleaned.

The more common bacterial meningitis killed two local students last month, an 18 year old student at Middle Tennessee State University and a 9 year old elementary school boy in Mt. Juliet. These deaths provided an opportunity to promote the meningitis vaccine.

Cases of meningitis come up every year but I seem to remember a time in the past when this disease was so rare that hardly anyone even knew what it was. It begs the question why so many now and especially how could a steroid drug become a carrier of the fungal type?

The CDC is right on top of the peanut and nut butter recalls though. They say New Mexico-based Sunland Inc.is the culprit. This company makes what can be considered higher quality products than the giant corporate suppliers do and I'm pretty sure I ate a few jars of the suspect peanut butter. It was odd that on a national news show I heard them say that "choosy mothers who chose Jif or Skippy are safe." Maybe not so odd after all as major corporations try to stick together. No mention that most of the Jif's and Skippy's contain GMO high fructose corn syrup.

The alleged salmonella illnesses are reported to have been in 19 states but I can't find a list of those states or even one interview with a victim. Does it seem like more of the recalls here lately have been for quality 'good for you' food than for junk and fast food scrap? Organic seems to get implicated too. It's hard to know what to believe but to suspect an agenda is in progress seems about right to me.

One of the big questions is "Will Prop 37, the mandatory GMO labeling law, pass in California this Nov. 6?" Billions are at stake for Monsanto and their ilk. Millions are being spent to defeat the proposition. Media is being bought to try and convince voters to 'just say no.'

Polls are showing support for 37 and that it will pass unless voters are convinced that prices will increase more than they are willing to pay. The TV screens and radio speakers are soon to be inundated with opposition ads over the next month and who knows how they will brainwash influence voters.

The wild card is the potential for electronic voting machine fraud. With so much money on the line it's not out of the question. If the proposition passes expect lawsuits against it to quickly flow into the system. It could even go all the way to the Supreme Court and if the Supremes can rule positively for Citizens United don't bet that they will side with the people on the simple issue of truth in labeling. I also won't bet that this issue will come up in the presidential debates.

With the studies and questions of GMO's causing cancer and other health issues as well as environmental damage you would think this would be a no-brainer for voters. Just plain common sense. The right to know. Monsanto is worried and is pulling out all the stops. To beat them on this would be significant.

For the sake of the rest of the country, we are pulling for Californians to drive a stake into the heart of corporate food criminals.

If not...well...it's enough to make the babies cry.

    1. All the more reason that they need to be brought down. Much easier said than done the way things are going. I've talked with some farmers around here who are starting to question whether GMO's are the way they need to continue but too many trust what the state ag agents and Farm Bureau are telling them.

  2. Kenny,

I meant to include with my previous comment a sincere thanks for you blog. Especially so, as it was my first time to comment after regularly reading your blog for a few years.

As for a comment on the post:

Could the spread of these viruses have anything to do with the process of transfer of transgenic traits that require the use of viruses and bacteria to penetrate the "germplasm" to insert their desired genome into the "target"?

Or could it just be a result of the aerial assault of daily spraying by the local airlines flying "Our friendly skies"?

  3. I don't know if this has anything to do with viral outbreaks - I was hospitalized for a back issue (non surgical) about 4 years ago. They started giving me injections of heparin (blood thinner, aka rat poison) and when I refused, I was told it was mandatory (it isn't, I found out later from hospital admin).

Turns out they give this routinely now to newborns. Dennis Quaid's twins ended up getting overdosed with this stuff. There is no good reason to give this to a newborn.

I think things are ramping up again - it's been unusually quiet lately. I've noticed I'm seeing more "11" times on the clock and other numbers (like 444) - for a long time I had not been seeing it at all. Now it's starting up again.

I was looking at this radio show from Jan 2011, where they were talking about recent events, including the Gabrielle Giffords shooting. From the show site:

"In the News: 7.3 earthquake Loyalty Islands and more earthquakes; Mt. Etna erupts; Floods wipe out Australia; mudslides kill in Brazil;Sulfuric acid spill on the Rhine; Germany kills toxic pigs; magnetic pole shift? more animal die-offs world wide; blue meteor crashes in Oklahoma; New England buried in snow; South covered in ice; 100 dead birds in California; Netanyahu wants war; hit men killing in Iraq; Iran arrests Israeli spies; reporter asked to remove her bra; threat to Sen. Bennet; massive die-off in Chicago lakes; prison-burger recall; Lebanese govt gone; Tunisia killing protesters; will the euro fail? bad cop stories; low-wage workers to pay more taxes; Illinois raises State taxes; Bernanke says no to bailing out States; Delay delays his 3 yr sentence; Obama visits Giffords; FBI infiltration of anti-war groups; more sign up for unemployment; prices rise" http://meria.net/2011/01/meria-with-dave-mcgowan-and-the-news/

I'm wondering if another whirlwind is starting up. The elections are a month away, I guess they've wanted us to pay attention to all that. That'll be over soon, the next act to follow.

Today in Seattle, Michelle Obama and Madonna arrive on the same day. And we have a Mariner's baseball game. All three M's are tying up traffic. Could be an omen.

    1. Heparin is used extensively for many different reasons but I've seen in older folks the dosage is hard to get right and the doctors are continually adjusting it up and down frustrating the patients who don't think the docs know what they are doing. Maybe they don't.

I believe in Quaid's case it was where the nurses mixed up using Heparin instead of Hep-Lock which was a much lower dose but packaged in the same size vials with small writing from the same manufacturer. It happened quite often. Stupid manufacturer. I don't know if that's been changed or not.

What was odd about the fungal meningitis cases is that until 3 days ago I had never heard of lumbar epidural steroid injections until a older lady, friend of the family, said her doctor suggested she get one for her back pain. She was trying to make up her mind about doing so when these reports came out. It made her decision to say no easy.

    4. You probably already know this, but you're certainly not alone regarding seeing the "repeating numbers." Here's a blog post from someone else who sees the same numbers you do: http://howtomeditateblog.wordpress.com/2009/08/03/what-does-11-11-mean/

I have been given to understand that 11:11 represents a sort of "gateway" into other dimensions, and 4:44 is the "angel's number" which means an angel is trying to get your attention somehow.

    5. I don't buy the angel excuse. IMO, it's scalar waves or HAARP.

11 is significant in the Jewish calendar - http://mybigfatanti-zionistlife.blogspot.com/2011/04/9-11-date-awaited-by-rabbinate-for-past.html

I am not being "narrow minded" - as far as paranormal issues go, I've had plenty of experiences. I still try to find other possible reasons for them (it's the skeptic in me) but sometimes I cannot.

    1. What we have ended up with is not the 'hippie' dream. In the early 70's some old friends of mine started the first natural food store in Nashville, the Sunshine Grocery. They were ahead of the curve and had to sell out after about a year due to losing money. Eventually it became profitable, moving to a larger store but the chain of buyouts and store closures wound up as Whole Foods.

During the 70's these little businesses sprang up all over including smaller towns. I worked at two of them part time more for the fun and meeting of like minded people than for the money. None of them made it long term and except in the larger cities, today's equivalents are few and far between. At one time we just never thought that corporate greed would swallow up the good food industry. Little did we know.

Voter fraud. Funny, a neighboring community decided to put before the voters a proposal to abolish village govt. Lo and behold electronic voting machines were brought in at the same time as the vote. The voters had been pretty much in agreement that the gov't had to go; the machines said otherwise.

If the voters had enough cash they could do exit polls - a discrepancy between how people said they voted and how the results come out is prima facie fraud.

Exit polls...Once upon a time they were an accurate reflection of the actual vote but then all of a sudden they weren't. According to the MSM, people started lying to the exit pollsters thus explaining the discrepancies over the last few years. Yeah, right. I've noticed that the major pollsters have cut way back on the number of exit polls they are doing. They very well could work on a local level with honest independents volunteering to do them and it is something that needs to be done.

      Delete
    2. Yep, the exit polls had John Kerry winning Ohio by fairly wide margins. We all know what happened there. Team Bush stole another one and Kerry let him.

EV, I did a little search on 'Meningitis is Polio' and it looks like it is a very controversial issue. Apparently Meningitis cases reported increased as polio decreased and some speculate that non-paralytic polio was reported as meningitis to cover the fact that polio vaccinations don't work. 2. Hey Kenny, thanks for finding that link. I have his book and have read a few chapters. Based on how he treated JFK (I learned a lot but the conclusions were somehow lacking...nothing ever gets resolved with that story) and Darwin (secular critique with no real logical teeth) ...and the H-o-caust (which he mentioned in passing as the result of Darwinian thought), I didn't have high hopes for his treatment of 9/11. But the HIV/Aids chapter and vaccination and Shakespeare are just incredible. I can't wait to read about the Big Bang and a few other things...

FYI: regarding polio - there is plenty of evidence that polio is not an infectious disease but a neurological reaction to toxins. And Klenner (a doc) has published case after case curing polio with high doses of vitamin C. So if any of you know someone with one of these suspicious illnesses, point them to Klenner's work. A great book on Vitamin C is by Thomas Levy, MD, which shows that no shots are needed (even if they do work, which they don't)!

      Uh-huh
      War, huh, yeah

      War, huh, good God
      What is it good for

      Ohhh, war, I despise
      Because it means destruction
      Of innocent lives

      War means tears
      To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
      And lose their lives

      I said, war, huh
      Good God, y'all
      What is it good for
      Absolutely nothing
      Say it again

      War, whoa, Lord

      War, it ain't nothing
      But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
      Ooooh, war

It's an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind

      Many a young man’s dreams
Made him disabled, bitter and mean
Life is much too short and precious
To spend fighting wars these days
      War can't give life
It can only take it away

      Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord knows there's got to be a better way

      Ooooooh, war, huh
      Good God y'all
      What is it good for
      You tell me
Say it, say it, say it, say it

  18. Maybe they'll get dropped on their pointy little heads.

Take a moment and step back from the zionist matrix we 'live' in. Suppose you are the leaders of China or Russia. You know the the elders of zionism are making a move for world hegemony through its evil sons. Their sons who steal and kill their way into an organised crime relationship with all places vunerable. So you're China/Russia watching this thinly veiled take over of the world with an obvious plan of gradually introducing a fiat one world currency fractionally (extemely fractionally) backed by gold that the elders of zionism issue.

What do you do? Do you decide to wait 10 or 20 years for the writing on the wall to become actual? Or do you talk between yourselves to draw your own silent red line that without warning will be acted upon. Has that line been already indicated unambiguously to the evil sons? Is that very real red line, the evil sons going by force into Syria? It is not inconceivable that when the very first USrael/NATO soldier sets his foot on Syrian soil that China and Russia together will respond with extreme force to route out all things USrael/NATO everywhere in the Middle East. Has not the Bear and the Dragon not made their warning very clear? Why would they wait for the evil sons to steal any more resource full land. Russia and China are willing to pay for the oil and minerals contained in Syria and Iran. Why would they sit back and watch a bunch of cowboy thugs steal it?

I think the elders of zionism's evil sons are going to get dropped on their pointy heads.

Punks and mobsters, the whole bunch are just thieves and murderers - no more than that.

How much more theft and murder are the Bear and Dragon going to just sit back and watch. I think (and actually hope) Syria is going to be the very last staw in the unwise elders of zionism's hegemony on this planet.

Long live planet earth without central bank usury.
